I want to learn hacking but I have almost no standing ground. I want to aspire to become a great hacker like Parasyte, kenobi, etc.* I would like to learn basic hexadecimal and hopefully, expand my knowledge. Could someone, if they would like to, give me links or personally help me learn how to hack? I read some topics, and when I read someone like Dualscreenman or Viper post, I don't really understand.
If the members of Koderwerx are willing, could you guys help me along the way?

*= There are many more great hackers, it is just that I do not want to take the time to list you all.

hehe, that's cool. I don't really understand them eaither. :) good luck with it all. I wish I had the time to devote to it.
I'm guessing it's lot's and lots of code and maths ;)

Well, I wish you the best of luck I learn'd how to hack codes with a rom and how to change a code to a value I want *which is VERY easy to do* So I will look for a guide for you.

WOOT WOOT second that. That's been around forever and has always been a big help to me. It's also where I first found out what an activator or joker code is. When the new text is ready, you'll have more information than you could ever need to get started. By the time you need something that is not covered in the new text, you should have the knowledge to figure it out yourself.

Thanks to all those who contributed to the original and those who will be contributing to the new.

Just try messing around with hex values (use hexworkshop) and test the results, thats how most of us do it.

Hex editing is fine, as long as you have something to edit. (A RAM dump, a ROM, etc.) And if you don't, using a hex editor can't really teach you anything more than getting used to its interface.
