 Post subject: Linux on laptop

Okay I just spent the last hour setting up Ubuntu and getting my wireless card to work with it. But the resolution isn't as high as I could get it in Windows. Its in 1024 x 768 and I could get 1280×800 before. Any help would be appreciated.

Install the proprietary drivers for your video card. See Ubuntu Guide for help.

Yeah I managed to get my wireless card working configuring ndiswrapper. I got the resolution problem squared away too. Thanks for the help.
