It's funny, now that I'm studying Computer Science, and have read through a lot of the stuff here, it makes me realize how little I knew when I was active here, and how much everyone knows here. You guys all better have awesome jobs because you guys are fucking smart.

I try to come here as much as possible. Before I didn't come around because life sucked. Now I don't come around because life is awesome and i'm busy. Freaking CCNA(studying for ccnp tonight actually) certified now working a pretty damn good job.

I think I would call my "real life" a success. Unfortunately it doesn't leave a whole lot of spare time. I've been poking at my 3DS again, but I only get a few hours a day with it. That makes it hard to be productive.

So I'm Smalls1652 if y'all remember me. Got locked out of my old account thanks to my old email being deactivated. I've been busy with life and college (Two victory laps, aw yeah). Right now I'm A+, Lenovo Thinkpad, and CCENT certified. I basically took the ICND1 and passed it, but almost passed the ICND2 (Gets me the CCNA) by 24 points. I need to retake it soon. Outside of that I work in a computer repair shop.

The last time I dropped by here was like 2010 or 2011, so it's been a while.



How was the CCNP btw? Do they have more than one IPv6 question on that test? ICND1 and 2 had one IPv6 question on both.

It's good to see everyone! And I agree with Minion; we're not dead. To me, it just seems that there isn't anything happening that would require us all to be present and active every day. Current gen systems are harder to have the kind of fun with that we all like, and retro systems are a niche. I'm currently doing a lot with my GameCube. All kinds of collecting and modding. I have two N64's that I use, but one has been tied up in a project for the last year or so that I really should finish.

I miss the random sections. They used to be quite entertaining. Something bred out of people sharing a common interest and transforming into something else. Actually referring to Spamghetti. I guess maybe it got weird. I liked watching the history of this place, despite coming in the tail end of it. I'm happy to see the site is still up. It seems like before we didn't have much to do and tinkered with things, and then now we just have a huge plate of things to do and eventually we get more and more until it becomes so rare that we visit old places again.

Oh happy birthday Modman. Just happened to catch that.

I still stop by this site about twice a year to see if anything interesting has happened.

I made two bursts of effort this year to try and revisit some game hacking related things. Back around March I started digging through the PSO games on Gamecube to help populate the TCRF pages on them. I was hoping to find a way to activate PSO's debug mode, although I needed some thing that I didn't have at the time.

I finally got around to partially resolving that last month. I released a partially working PPC plug-in for Hopper disassembler, and also one for SH4 (Dreamcast). Still need to finish a gamecube DOL loader plug-in for the PPC plugin to be more useful, I might get around to that this week. Also hacked codes for a few Dreamcast games. I'm somewhat surprised that there is no pointer code type on any of the DC cheat devices, at least nothing's been documented for one.
