I just got my MacBook Pro for college and I was trying to activate Microsoft Office 2003 on my Windows Vista Bootcamp partition and I ran into this issue. At first I tried activating it on Windows XP, it didn't work. I installed Vista, it gives the same error.

I've Google'd, Bing'd, and whatnot.

Here's a pic of the error I get when I try to activate over the Internet:

I need to figure this out before tomorrow, as my "Big Presentation for my Senior Year" is due. Thanks.

And for those wondering, I ran it on my desktop and it activated perfectly. No issues, even activated under Crossover on the Mac (But it has issues when it comes to Powerpoint).

Well, it's faster on Windows. I blame Apple's pre-built Java Runtime Environment.
