Okay, so I just bought a Wii. I was wondering if there was something out to play downloaded Wii roms.

I don't know where to start with this... Does the Wii need a mod chip to play burned games?

Or was there something made so that I could place a card in the SD slot to take the Anti-Piracy away?

Downloaded Wii Roms? Why don't you just buy some real Wii console games? Nintendo Wii isn't going to be turned into an Emulator anytime soon.... As for burning Wii games, if you had enough money to buy a Nintendo Wii why the heck don't you have enough money to buy some actual Wii games? You're making it more trouble than it's worth.

First of all, you're not allowed to ask that and we're not allowed to answer it.

Second, Wii ISOs are fine for running on the Wii itself. Piracy is still possible without an emulator.

You're both ridiculous.

I'm willing to save another thousand bucks. That's why I want to do this.

Oh hey Zeld, are there roms that could just be burned on to a DVD from the internet? What's the mod chip for then?

Sounds to me more like that simply furthers the theory that only 10% of the world's intelligence is contained within 90% of its population.

i.e. your point is moot.

Run the Twilight Hack(or others), set up the Homebrew Channel and bootmii. The rest you gotta figure out on your own.

Modchips were previously the only way to play burned Wii games. Now we have alternatives.

Its a simple process really. Google doesnt look down on you if you're a pirate, in fact Google is your best friend in these situations.

Oh, I wouldnt call Wii games ROMs.

^ All very true, except

- I pretty much covered all that except for JFGI, because
- Don't encourage these twits.

Hmm...

Is the Twilight Hack reversible if I don't want to use it anymore?

Just curious because of the new firmware that came out. I didn't download it yet, but I don't want to lose the Homebrew Channel. Which the update will get rid of...

That to is simple. Dont Update. There is not now nor will there most likely ever be a worthwhile reason to update your system menu through nintendo unless you want to use the shop channel or others.

The twilight hack is just a savegame exploit to let you run code. Use it to install the HBC, after thats done you can delete the HBC like a normal channel if you dont want it anymore. Though you can also use Bannerbomb, and Indiana Pwns to run code as well, if you dont have Twilight Princess.

I'm still on 3.2U btw, everything works like a charm.

Gecko OS allows you to bypass unwanted updates anyway.

Wii sucks. Anyone who tells you otherwise has never played an Xbox 360 or PC game.

The Wii is pretty fun and has a shit games selection.
Mine hasn't been plugged in in over a year.

*sigh* Sad, unfortunate truth.

Lemma, you're still a slut who never plays Halo with me and needs to choke to death on Para's cock.
