If you have the latest Gecko OS, make sure the "Use Cheats" option is set to "Yes" then on the main menu select "Launch Channel"
Select the VC game you've got codes on the SD card for and you're done.

The VC game cannot be on the SD card, it must be on the Wii to select it.

I'm assuming you know how to use codes for disc games.. If I shouldn't, I can go into more detail.

Post subject:	How do I use cheat codes on a Wii VC?
I've tried looking it up on google but all I seem to find is people trying to download the VC's for free, thats NOT what I'm looking for. Can someone explain to me HOW I use codes on VC game, because to my knowledge Gecko only seems to be able to hack games that actually HAVE A DISK. VC games don't have a disk, so what program do I download to use codes on them? If anyone could tell me what program to use, I'd be very greatful. I have a SD Card and I have The Homebrew Channel loaded. Thanks for your time.

I think Gecko has an option to train the system menu, and while I'm sure that's the first step to accomplishing what you're asking I have no idea how to utilize that feature.

Do you know which version of Gecko supposively has that feature? Nevermind, it seems Gecko 1.9 has it, but whenever I select Launch Channel it gives me an error that says; "Error getting channel list, press B to exit." so how do I fix it?
