Someone put a password on my main account and now I can't log in. And the previous owner of the laptop put a password on the "Administrator". I can only get in through the "Guest" account.

I was planning to begin from scratch anyways so...

Is there a way to format my hard drive by doing something else? Or a way I can type format C: in the Command Prompt without restrictions?

Thanks.

If you're starting from scratch, JUST INSTALL THE OS YOU PLAN ON USING.

If you want to get into your account for some reason, use a password recovery tool (ophcrack), or a password deleter.

If you're a lying cunt and want to format someone's HDD for entertainment, use any ol' multi-purpose boot-disk.

The "password deleter" he refers to is something like ntpasswd. Which rocks.
