Well, I'll probably just get rid of avg then, it slows my startup a little bit anyway. About the networking...I'm on a notebook pc so I look for open connections when I take it to friends houses, but I've only been connected to 3 routers I dont actually know, but I still dont think it should have given me that many areas in the file. Ok, I'm in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
I have 5 different files in here. Hosts, Networks, Services, Protocol, and and lmhosts. lmhosts is the only SAM file, and everything else is a normal file. Is this where I need to be?
