I really don't know alot about this, but I found out that the R4 will no longer be updated by the company. As far as I know, Yasu's menu is updated from time to time, so I'm planning to begin using it. Does anyone know the website where its hosted? I was also wondering if you could find me ( a hyperlink is fine ) a guide on how to use it, along with the patching programs and all that. Thanks. |

For the cost of the bandwidth to update the card 34 times, you could buy a non-completelyfuckingshitty card. |

Um... I wasn't really planning on getting another flashcart, but is Y's menu better on an R4 or is the basic R4 firmware (v1.18) something to stay with? |

I tried the second one and it tasted like chips! |

Check Out: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=103879 If you own an R4, clone or original, I really suggest using YSmenu as its much better. The R4 is dead, the R4 team has officially abandoned the R4 and the R4 clones are doing next to nothing when it comes to updating the R44 clones. At least with YSmenu, you have the game compatibility of the DSTT flashcart as it uses the DSTT loader to load games. This means that you have much better game compatibility compared to the R4 which has arouund a 90% game compatibility and falling. YSmenu also has native GBA support (If you have a slot 2), A better cheat engine, its faster, better game and homebrew compatibility, supports Rumble and RAM packs if you have them and many other features. |
