Hi there I'm new here, I currentlyh have codes for pokemon fire red but I'm having problems with them. For one if I choose my codes at the begining of the game and choose boy then after wards type my name it comes up as a girl. The second problem is if I succesfully have boy in battle it shows up as a girl or when I enter some buildings it will be a girl. Also it Won't allow me to save propperly or comes up in weird text I don't understand what codes i'm using wrong or if there are codes to get around this problem so can some one please help me out here I really need it. |

I bet the programmers are having quite a laugh over this. If you start the game without any codes, save, and then restart with codes on, does it work? |

That happends to everyone... What you have to do in the end is use a gender changing code, after you finished hacking all your items, pokemon etc. |
