I was finding out all different possibilitys of alt codes, you know when you hold alt and type in numbers to get symbols like this: ☺®©ïTÞ┘☼ And then im putting it into a txt file and sharing it.(when i finish) when i got to pressing alt+026, it does strange things, highlighting and pasting???but in a weird way???, can some one try this out and tell me exactly what it does, its too confusing

Your so called "Alt Codes" are simply a way of typing unicode characters. Good luck finding all of them, there are over 100k. |

There are HUNDREDS of lists of all ~140,000 all over the internet. Hell, walk into any bookstore and pick up a book on Unicode. Oh, by the way, notepad won't display unicode characters by default, meaning that about 130,000 of the ~140,000 won't show up in notepad. Have fun. |

Well, ill just use somthing els to type with, and I havent seen any books on unicode, and the one I saw you had to buy, atleast my ones gonna be free |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Unicode_characters I was off a bit, the current version of unicode has 100,713 characters. |

This is exactly what the character map program included with Windows is for.  26 is a control character, so no surprise it does odd things.
