Super Smash Bros Brawl has problems with certain Wii systems, you should check with the manufacturer of both your Wii and SSBB to see if your system/game will conflict. This isn't something to panic over. The Game stores I frequent say that it has to do with SSBB being made with a dual-layer disc. Some of the Wii Lasers have a problem with reading the Dual-layer disc, and therefore have these problems. Again, you should go online to check with nintendo, I'm sure they'll replace your laser free of charge if the problem persists.

I don't think his problem is the same one you're describing. DarkLinkX: Nintendo's Wifi sucks. If there are too many people online, you won't be able to play online. The extra button isn't added until after your first match.

Doesn't that just cause disc read errors?
