I know there is some kind of disk cleaner out there, but I'm talking other than that.

i know it sounds crazy but it works... put toothpaste on it and take a toothbrush and scrub it lightly then wash it off :) works for me

Dont use toothpaste.

I once used toothpaste to wear down a disk a bit to fix some scratches a friend has ruined the game with. I wore the game disk to like half the depth it was before....so yeah toothpaste is very abrasive so yeah...dont use that just incase.

I always just blow hot air on the disk so it fogs up then wipe it off...that works just fine and doesnt damage it.

i use windex. then i use a blow-dryer to wash it all off. since the disks are sensitive you shouldnt use fabric. you should let it dry naturally.

Dont use toothpaste it does not work. All you achieve in doing is making your self look like a nuttsack.

I did research, and it appears that it is a "Parent Company" of HollyWood Video. By this, I mean that they did buy HollyWood video, but they aren't taking its place. For instance, HollyWood videos are still running, and they also have different specials and junk (MVP and HollyWood video is one example). Plus, HollyWood video is still known as Hollywood video. Before this thread, I had never even heard of Movie Gallery. Plus, on Movie Gallery's website, they have links to HollyWood Video.


Anyways, to the origonal question, just take the disk to HollyWood Video or Movie Gallery if where you live has that instead.

I use a microfiber cleaning cloth I got with a Nintendo DS lite bundle pack that was meant to clean game screens, and it has saved me from having to replace my SSBM disc and a friend's FFVII disk (the original Final Fantasy VII for PlayStation).
