My friend shut down his computer so it could finish installing the updates, and when he pushed the button to turn it back on it didn't do anything. He has an HP Media Center PC m7674n. He said when he pushes the power button it doesn't do anything at all. Is there a way he can fix it himself, or will he have to call HP? Before anyone asks: Yes, it is plugged in. The power LED on the back is on. |

Can he remove the front cover? If he can, push the black button where the power button is at. It could be loose. |

He said he already tried that and it didn't work. He also checked for loose wires and didn't see any. |
