I hate it that my first post starts in the help forum, but hopefully i will contrinute more. Here is my problem: I have an r4 firmware 1.10 and i need to put action replay cheats on it. I have the cheat code editor and the action replay code manager. I pick the cheats i want from the action replay code manager and drag them down to my code list. The result is approzimately a 756 kb xml file. Now I open my r4 cheat code editor and click import zml. I select the 756 file and i get an xml format error. I try selecting the one that came with the cheat code editor and it worked fine. 1. Does anybody know a fix for this? 2. If no does anybody know how to edit the cheat.dat and the usrcheat.dat? 3 And can somebody convert the following subscriptions into a usrcheat.dat http://www.freewebs.com/nhsomedude/SUB.xml and http://www.freewebs.com/porkchop21ards/porkchopards.xml http://www.freewebs.com/mkdsar/MKDS.xml |

It is actually far more easy to simply add the codes manually. Just pick the ones you want and just make em as you would Add game>add code>copy paste code>update code voila one code added. rinse and repeat. Well that's what I do anyway since I don't use too many codes. |

I don't have an R4, and don't have much knowledge about them, so if this doesn't work, don't be surprised. This is what I THINK you can do if you have an AR (I hope you do....) 1. Open the AR on your R4. 2. Insert the AR with those codes on it. (get those codes on it by draging the subs into my codelists, then from there dragging the games over to your AR.) 3. Hit save changes. Or something like this. You may have to take the AR out of it? I don't really know, and am just guessing. Sorry. I am going to ask someone who probably will know though, so just hold on if that doesn't work. |
