Ok, so I pulled out my old N64 that I haven't used in a few years.
I was hoping to have some sound when I was playing Banjo-Tooie, but no.

In the past I would be able to bend the AV cord and make it play the sound.
Is there a way to fix this?

Unless you can bring your N64 to Stephen Colbert's interview area, which just so happens to be a fountain of youth, your N64 is going to die of old age.

Buy a new cord. Nintendo should still sell them, since they work with Gamecubes too.

$16 for an outdated AV cord.
I'd much rather find an SNES and get the cord.

You know, you can use the Gamecube's cord on the N64.

My friend has an SNES, 64, and a Gamecube.
I'm just gonna take one away, not like he needs it.

The SNES weren't generally sold with the 'AV' cord. The used the cable-box.
