Post subject: | FireFox....FTW? |
I recently (11/10/06) obtained a new computer. I quickly installed the newest version of Firefox. I am not able to access the page to download extensions though. I keep getting this message... Error response Error code 500. Message: Internal Server Error. It also does it on the page where I sign up for classes at school. Both pages work with IE. It turns out that both pages are secure. I tried looking through the internet options but didn't see anything that would change this. Any help with this would be appreciated. |

There are options for security settings in Firefox. The defaults should be fine. |

I don't remember if I have changed anything in it, but I don't think I did. I had no problems with it on my other computer. I checked and I didn't see anything that would help it. |

Everyone knows the first thing you should do when you get a new computer is format it and install a clean copy of the Operating System of your choice. OEM software sucks ass and will ruin your computing experience. |

I did. They loaded on IE. Also today I discovered today that if I try to log into yahoo mail from the main yahoo page I get that message, but if I log in by pushing the button on the yahoo messenger it works fine. |

I had the same problem until I re-installed everything. |
