My Windows Media Player 11 is having some difficulity. It used to be able to play music just fine, but now, it is incapable of doinng so. Everytime I try and boot up a mp3, WMP 11 loads up, but when it trys to play, the visualization runs REALLY really slow and laggy, and no sound plays. The progress bar for the song is also really slow. I dont know how to fix this, because I cant uninstall it, as it is part of Vista.

Anyways, if yo uknow what to do, or have suggestions, thanks.

(Oh, and please dont tell me to get another OS, I have 2. I just want this working on Vista.)

Yeah, uh, don't expect everything to run on Vista. :x

Have you tried disabling Glass?

iTunes is as slow as shit. I use it right now, but I would prefer not to. Besides, the new update signs your music so you cant share it. Dont need that.

WMP 11 should run on Vista, as it is part of Vista. What is Glass though? I dont think I have ever installed somrthing called Glass.

My computer is very high-end, and it has no problems running any other program. Aero's fine. Its just WMP thats all screwy.

how about you try vlc media player and look here
here to get it to work with vista

The box said "Requires Windows 95, NT, or better", so I installed Fedora.

Woah, tech support sucks here. I ask for help with one problem and you skirt it completly. I want to know how to get it running again. I already have the other crap running, but I want this working. So, any help, or none? Thanks for trying.
