im not allowed to pay for anything online, so does anyone know of any decent FREE webhosts that let you create mysql databases like 9999mb.com or 110mb.com? both suck because i cant upload 2mb files..9999mb gives 404 on everything..and 110mb has too many mysql db errors with phpbb forums...

110mb will also shut down your account with no warning whatsoever if you don't follow the TOS strictly, which includes the silly things like having x hits per day.

Why is PHPBB not working a problem, though? PHPBB sucks.

i get silly little php errors because i dont have a good sql db..good thing i downloaded php & mysql for dummies! ..now i need a comp charger instead of a wii...

In terms of quality, you will always find something you don't like about free hosts; you aren't paying them, they can afford to lose your business if they don't meet your expectations. When you do start paying (for a shared host), things instantly become different; they don't want to to lose your business and they will work to keep it. For a dedicated host, things get even better; they will actually bend over backwards to meet your needs to the best of their ability.

So try to enjoy the free hosting if that's all you can muster up. But don't let it be indicative of what you will get when paying a host who doesn't dick around with retarded freebie services. :)
