Its not so much as a "problem" but a nusience.

When I first got my computer, it worked perfectly. That is, until I was dicking around in the Theme settings. Now, the man blue welcome screen, that says "welcome" is replaced by a little pop up box, asking for a user name and pass word. I dont need the latter. I want to know how to get it back to the normal welcome screen, where it logs in automatically.

Also, it has the same ugly ass screen for loging off. As seen here:

It was a nice blue theme before. Now its that crappy grey :(

This is the Win2K login option that can be enabled and disabled in the user accounts control panel. I <3 this option! The original XP welcome screen is ultragay beyond belief.

Well, I like the ultragay version :P So, under my user accounts, it says "Client Services for Netware has disaabled the Welcome screen and Fast user Switching. To restore these features, you must uninstall the Client Services for Netware."

Where is that? Ive looked under add/remove programs, but it doesnt show.

It's in Network Connections, the properties for your network adapter(s). Choose netware in the list(s) and click uninstall. However, if you need netware to get on a network, this would be a bad idea.

Ok, in unstalling that, what problems might I encounter? And, if I do encounter problems, can I re install it?= w/o installing the whole thing over?

You need it if you are on a netware network. If you uninstall it and need it, you will not have a network connection, meaning no internet.

I like the way you seem to be stuck with. I use it on my laptop but not my desktop. I actually did it on accident and then I liked it.

I used AtomicXP back in the day (I wish I could find a place to download it, still) and got my XP install setup to look and feel more like Win2K. The XP search is also rather ultragay, so the 2K-style search is a great option.
