i am trying to help some one remove a program from his computer because the program keeps crashing so i made a little guide to help him remove it what do you think?is this an ok guide? NOTE:this has to do with the gimp.

I am guessing you have windows XP.ok first go to control panel then go to add and remove programs then find gtk runtime enviorment then click the button the find the gimp the click the button then go to start then click run then type regedit then find gtk by pressing g until you find it now right click it and select delete it a window will pop-up asking you are you sure you want to delete it and all of it's subkeys.something like that click yes. now open any folder click tools now click the tab view now under advanced settings there should be a list of settings find the one that has
hide hidden folders
show hidden folder. click show hidden folders.now go to my computer double click on drive c (i am guessing you have 1 hard drive) now find program files look for the gimp and gtk delete those 2 files if there still there now do another search for gimp and gtk if it's still in the results go find the file using the path and delete it gimp should be completely removed hope this guide helped you : ). 2ndnote:i made this guide so he s/he could remove it from his computer completely i just need to know if i should make any changes or if this is even correct

The box said "Requires Windows 95, NT, or better", so I installed Fedora.
