It relocates the Action Replay code handler to a new location in memory.

(M) is short for "Must Be On", these types of codes are required with certain games because the cheat device requires some memory space, and certain games will use up the memory space the device uses by default. These codes change how and where the cheat device loads itself with that game, fixing the problem.

Or they change some piece of code in the game that doesn't play nice with cheat devices, often intentionally. This was frequently the case on N64 (also where "(M)" started AFAIK, as the Gameshark would recognize this as a Must Be On code).

Master codes for dipstar, Must be on codes for AR. Is that how I am to understand?

So the Must be on in AR uses the C code to change the memory allocation??? Still a little fuzzy on all of this thanks.
