Post subject:  Action Replay GBA v3 Fucked Up

Jesus, it's just one thing after another!

I go to type in a new code it's saving it and the thing freezes. So, I go to shut it off (my GBA) and turn it back on and I come to find a screen with jitter and all this clutter (and once more, looks to be some yellow or blue or black stuff falling down like a waterfall as data). Now, my AR's screen was already fucked up before, but not to his magnitude. Once more, it freezes before I can get past the title screen.

So, now my AR is basically fucked up. Any way I can reformat it or fix it? Or do I have to buy a new one? 'Cause now all my codes are gone...if I can't get this AR fixed.

Edit: If my AR is unfixable, what's the next best thing to get that's an improvement over v3? Because I'd seriously hate to buy another one (and if I have to, what's the current price of them? $20?)

Edit 2: If I got the AR Max (the newest one) would the v3 codes still work on it? Just thought I'd ask.

If it works use it! You should have backed up your codes on a computer. if not then you are shit out of luck. other than if it allows you to reenter the codes into the AR. then you are good to go. as for finding a new one Dantel has discontinued distributing them so you'll need to either go on Ebay or miraculously find an AR DUO.

PS i have more trouble with the GS for the GBA... but they (Mad Catz) are not discontinuing the line like Dantel did.

That always happens to me, while in the slot, "wiggle" the ar a bit and then turn on your system; if it doesnt work try again (usally takes a good 10 or so trys)
