Chargers are rarely shit. It's the batteries (and the hardware sucking power from the batteries) that are usually shit due to efficiency problems. And if the batteries are made by Sony, the problems compound into explosives.

Right I did say charger when I meant to say battery (my bad) my Sony was pure shit! It never held a charge so you had to keep it plugged in. A total waste. I would never recommend anyone get a Sony.

I find that configuring a modem with built-in router alongside a REAL router (Cisco/LynkSys) will cause a silly "double NAT" issue that will break Wii's connectivity as much as 95%. The solution to that problem is disabling the modem altogether, and using it simply as a bridge, which the real router acts as the modem.

But your problems appears to be something else, like your access point using a clogged channel. Most routers in your area will probably be set on the default channel, which is usually 1 or 11 in my experience. And considering that most microwaves operate rather close to channel 9, I would suggest changing your AP to use a channel in the vicinity of 2-8. I use channel 2, myself. But maybe something more in the middle would be better, like channel 6. It really should be set on a case-by-case basis.

hm..wonder if its that then...but in the meantime..kc57 said he felt bad and he let me try his charger, thankfully it worked. so i guess i have a replacement until i get my new one. its nice to not have to hold the plug a certain way ^.^ lol i had already messed up my old one before he tripped over it. i fell asleep, and it fell off my bed bending the crap out of the wires inside and i always had to hold it anyways
