How hard is it to hack the ps1 in general, I have heard that it is one of the easier consoles to hack. Is there a single program that is used, or is it many programs at once, I could never figure it out. Do you have to use roms which are illegal or can you use the games themselves? Is there a simple guide that explains ps1 hacking because if there is I will look for it if someone could give me some key words. I'm in no hurry, so if any of the hackers have a moment or two to answer my questions I would be eternally greatful. I don't like being a nusance to everyone everytime I need or want a code. Hmm... I don't think any of us here specialize in PSX hacking. But I do know that some PSX hacking does happen at GSHI. They have a few experts there who would answer your questions. |

PSX hacking is very easy with some powerful hacking tools. I would suggest the Xploder with the original DOS utilities (run the tool under DOSbox on Windows XP). Alternatively you could use an emulator supported by Renegade 64, which isn't as powerful as the Xploder tools, but contains more than enough to hack most codes. GBA is very easy to hack using Visualboy Advance. Older Gameboy games can be hacked well enough with BGB. GCN hacking can be done with GCNrd + any method of running homebrew programs on GCN hardware. (PSO, or AR+SD adapter [recommended]) A broadband adapter is required. PS2 ... I don't know. I remember seeing some sort of serial I/O hacking tool a few years ago (for PS2 EE-SIO), but I do not remember the name of it. |
