Can you please give me an in-depth walkthrough on how to unblock TCP/IP connections through my network adapter. In properties TCP/IP is checkmarked and it permits all but it is still not working.

Check your user manual. I had to enter a specific IP in the address box of my browser to get access to the seetings on my Linksys wireless router. I didn't know i had to do this BEFORE i plug it into my DSL modem because they both shared the same IP. now i fucked up my router so i cannot open a specific port for using EMULE. so i wish you the best of luck!

Ports are only blocked by firewalls. You can open ports on any hardware router using the HTTP configuration. The feature you want to use is usually called port forwarding. For software firewalls, disable/uninstall those useless things and get yourself a NAT router. Then proceed to configure the port forwarding as necessary.
