Ok, i want to be able to use the acww town editor but im having issues with my Max Duo

I know for older versions, you need to solder the pins 4-5 together, but what if this happens:

My AR/MAX DUO wont start up when i turn it on.

This is what i do:

1. Put in the AR/MAX DUO
2. Turn on DS
3. Click "Start GBA Game"

then it does the little thing that it does when you turn on a GBA game, and then...the screen goes white.

and it doesnt change.

will soldering the pins change that?

(shit soory i didnt read the sticky, please forgive me)
