I love Tetris DS but after playing a lot
the mario theme music gets to me.
You can't turn the sound off.
And I don't want to lower the volume
because I like the sound of the blocks.
I searched everywhere online for hacks
on how to rememdy this.
SO I found this online: [BGM_hack.zip]
It is a zip folder containing the
ingredients neccessary to hack Tetris DS.
But there is no README file in there for noobs.
I downloaded the files and when I click on them,
its like a DOS window opens and closes quickly.
All the files do this. I don't know what to do.
How do I do this, will someone help me or tell me what to do?
For (E) or (U)? I don't know : (
What is this for? Cartridge, NoGBA, R4?

Learn to use the command line (Start -> run -> cmd). Run it there.

..........how helpful.

ok so start run then I type cmd. It brings up the dos window.
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\ _
I typed in the name of the .exe file.
All it says is...
usage: bspatch.exe oldfile newfile patchfile

........ -_-'

I tried them all. All the files in that .zip folder.

........I don't even know what I'm supposed to patch. A Rom? My cartridge? An R4?

the rom is what you are supposed to patch.
You can also drag and drop the rom on the programs in windows xp, vista.

I told you exactly what to do, and it looks like you did it just fine.

So if you were to type exactly what it says there, it would apply the patch "patchfile" to the ROM "oldfile" and save the result as "newfile". So replace those with the names of your ROM and patch files.
