I was able to change the HP value with the code 122426D0 000003E7 But it doesn't actually work. It only changes the HP value in the status screen, not the actual HP. |

I'll go into a bit more detail on what I did so far. I'm using CheatEngine 5.4 with no$gba 2.5c since Renegade doesn't seem to work for my system properly (can't do initial memory dump). So far, I was able to track down the addresses that change when I get hit (thus HP decreases). This address is 122426D0. HP values in Cheatengine appeared as they did in the game (decimal) Aside from this, I also found addresses for the two stats in the status menu aside from exp. these are 122426D4 for attack strength and 122426D8 for defensive strength (or something like that). I used a 000003E7 code to change the values from the default to 999. However, it only changes the value in the status page. Whenever I get hit, the health bar still decreases but the HP in the status bar remains at 999 (or at whatever value you set it). |
