I'm pretty sure that the Action Replay that's compatible with 3DS is ONLY for using codes on regular DS games and not on 3DS Games. Could be wrong, but that's what it suggests on their site. |

I know that the game genie said there going to update soon to make it so it works on 3ds games, I was kinda waiting until I knew more about the action replay update before buying the game genie was a b day gift. But it would be cool to know how to make the codes for my new toy because game genie code list dose not have the games I have witch kinda sucks, |

As much as I would like to see it, it is highly unlikely. Historically, homebrew and piracy have come before cheat devices. It's been a popular trend for these companies to release products that modify save files (or even more recently, only backup/restore saves) and call them by the same names as a "legitimate" cheat device. My definition of a "legitimate" cheat device is one which has the capability of [temporarily] altering a game program. |

I miss cheat devices with unencrypted codes and a built in code hacking engine. |

I miss writing my own cheat devices with unencrypted codes and a built in code hacking engine. |

I was really confused, having heard nothing about it before. I went home, and Datel doesn't even list it on their site, I could only find it on Amazon. I assume it uses the overflow bug in the save manager? Edit: Didn't see the other thread about this. Ha. |

Actually, Wii AR has been released. There are no "legal" issues, but its release and support are certainly questionable. |

I was talking about when Datel first made the device about 1 year after Wii release. There were issues with going to market that were based on Big N. Nice to see it was finally released...maybe it will work on Wii U too? |

Unlikely. It only works on Wii because Nintendo still has not patched the vulnerability used to get the unsigned code running. |
