My god, this was a disgusting experience...
I had no idea generating a cheat file for the SuperCardDS ONE was such a retarded procedure.
Really, it's ridiculous.

Now, you're NOT gonna be able to edit the .scc file directly.
It's a bitchy little format from what I can tell, and I just don't like it.

The .cht file isn't too bad really though.
I'll give an example.

Original AR Codes
(This is how you have to do it to convert them to .cht with the official software.)

Clearly, it's not exactly "easy" to edit a .cht file, it's a wee bit cryptic, but really not horrible.

I think it someone wanted to really, they could write up a little editor.
It wouldn't take long to figure out what it's doing.

Basically, it's just moved around a bit.
Reverses them per byte.
Or however you say what I'm fuckling saying.

Personally though, I think this is still bullshit.
Having to put AR codes in a weird fucking format in a .txt file, convert it to the weirder .cht, and convert that to the retarded .scc FOR EVERY GAME.
I think that's ridiculous.

Anyone ever seen what the Cheat.db file used by M3DS Real, G6DS Real, iTouchDS, etc. uses?
It's beautiful.

I'd like some kind of tool that would allow me to easily edit a SuperCard DS ONE cheat file (.SCC) in plain text. The reason behind such a request is that it's a pain in the ass to have to use three different tools to add one code to the list of cheats, and not being able to find the actual code in the file without the original text document or CHT. I would attempt making one myself, but I haven't a clue how the SuperCard reads and interprets its codes or how they are generated. Is it possible for someone to make something of this sort?

Indeed, just about every other flash cartridge's database is simple and to the point. The DS ONE is great with everything other than the cheat files... Oh yeah, the screen in which you select the cheats is fuck ugly too. If only that team of bastards wasn't too lazy to do anything other than make money... Also... I'm happy with my SuperCard, but in case I go looking for another one in the same price range, what would you recommend. Don't suggest a CycloDS please, they're just a shitty copy of the SuperCard for an extra thirty box in my honest opinion.

I think I'll go for an iTouchDS... Also, this is a bit random, but is DealExtreme where you buy flash cartridges and such? That's where I got my SuperCard and it's where I've gotten everything online since... Thank you.
