Yeah, but the keyboard calaboration is off by a bit. Hope datel fixes this. Nice feature, though.

Title: The Mad Hacker
O RLY?

I'll have to try and get the AR to actually connect to the PC for more than 5 seconds now.

Oh wait, I forgot that I have no idea where mine is. hmmm

As far as the code handler is concerned, nothing much changed : the code handler is just 4 bytes shorter, which means the AR hacks codes I made must be changed.
Too bad they didn't at least correct the 'DB' code type bug...

Edit : the code handler seems shorter (of actually 8 bytes, not 4), but as the AR copies it in chunks, in the end the asm is at the same place, so no need to change my AR hacks.

Edit2 : editing codes sucks big time... whenever I browse the codes lines, the AR kinda randomly adds numbers in my code, screwing it up :/

Kenobi, the keyboard touch screen detection is off, that's why it adds codes randomly. Someone should report this to Datel. I expect that they will fix it soon.

Also, did you disassemble the firmware to find this? Man... I have to learn ARM assembly...

I didn't actually disassemble anything, I just loaded it into an emulator and compared the assembly of the ARDS v1.52 code handler with the one of a previous version.
Then I flashed it to my ARDS, and made some series of tests to see if anything actually moved.

Oh. You could disassemble it, though, right?
Y'know. Someone should create custom firmware for this thing. That be cool.

ARDS is gonna be still better and better.
Only the keyboard must be better, because I'm touching the Backspace and it's the N and I'm touching Next and it do nothing.

I know, it takes some getting used to. Its better for simple codes. I used it to create a double damage code. (Check other thread)

It seems you first have to update the PC software for the Desktop and then go back and request the firmware upgrade.

What exactly do you have to do in order to get the newer version? One of my friends on MPH has the new version and all he said to do was:

-Do a quick update
-Update software

I tried it and it still didn't upgrade.

Any idea?

Update the Software, open the new updated software, plug in your DS, and click on the software upgrade button again.

Don't do a quick update... It ruins all your custom codes.

I was testing out the new version, and there seems to be some problems. When you delete several codes, it will make all of your games on your AR dissappear. Yet if you turn it off and then back on, they're all there....wierd.
