As far as I know the save is encrypted. It would be a much better idea to modify the /root code to give you what you want. (As long as you don't put the values way to high you won't /root the leaderboards.)

AR Max Duo should not encrypt saves. The only thing to watch out for is the save's checksum. (Used to detect and sometimes fix corruption.) I just can't tell you where the checksum would be located in the file.

Yeah... MaxDuo, I'll be editing that root leaderboard code soon (I may just take the activator out...) If I can get the code to work at all, I'll toss you the edited version.

Well, the /root code (like all AR/CB codes) cannot be "ported" to save files without understanding the save structure perfectly. Then again, if you already knew the save structure, you would not need to port anything. :x

Para, I need a hand. I have Metroid Prime Hunters [AMHEN1J12], the gameplay is EXACTLY the same but nintendo made this "second generation" to fix something I suppose.. I found that MOST codes you can port from the original by just adding 880h to the addresses, (offset is 880) Which means somewhere in the code there is extra 880h of data. I need to find out where so I can port the root code. Because I can't get it to work by simply porting it (IE adding 880h to each address)

@para: It is, I ported it back, so this dude can use it. The actual offset for it was AC0. My version works perfectly, but since n o one her has 1.1, I just ported it back.

MaxDuo, my email is mailto:[email protected].
Oh! I forgot the time is in seconds, I'll update that post. I screwed a few things up I think. ;)

Yeah, pasted, whatever either way its version 1.0. Apparently, offset for later addresses (ones after health, ammo, ect) is AC0. What the hell did nintendo add to the game anyhow? By the way, why did so many people root the leaderboards? Nintendo doesn't even use those boards anymore... Its sad.

Because it's funny?
Because it's "elite" to take my work to make yourself look cool?
Because it's interesting to explore the leniency Nintendo has shown for network security?

*shrug*
