I am using NitroHax 0.82 with an original copy of Pokemon Pearl. All of the codes work for it except for one, which is the Wild Pokemon Modifier code:

94000130 FDFF0000
B21C4D28 00000000
B0000004 00000000
94000130 FEFF0000
00000890 01ED0001
D0000000 00000000
DA000000 00000892
DC000000 00024620
C0000000 0000000B
D7000000 00000000
DC000000 00000006
D2000000 00000000

I do this:

1. Press L + R and get master balls (WORKS)
2. Subtract a certain amount from the master balls
3. Hold L and encounter pokemon (FAILS)

I've also tried spacing the codes like so:

94000130 FDFF0000 B21C4D28 00000000 B0000004 00000000 94000130 FEFF0000 00000890 01ED0001 D0000000 00000000 DA000000 00000892 DC000000 00024620 C0000000 0000000B D7000000 00000000 DC000000 00000006 D2000000 00000000

So I pretty much get the 493 master balls but I cannot encounter the pokemon even though I am holding L. I have tried this for many wild battles and I have even turned the Nintendo DS off and on and tried again but it still did not work. It worked with my original Action Replay DS (which I have now lost) but it does not seem to want to work with NitroHax 0.82. I am currently using Games n' Music by Datel with a Sandisk 2 Gb MicroSD Card using the Gmtf.dldi patch (not Gmtf2.dldi which is not compatible with the Sandisk). I was wondering if any one else was having this issue and if anyone has found a fix for it while using the GnM (Even if this problem occurs with other cartridges, your information could be helpful). Thank you in advance.

So probably that code doesn't work, or you have the wrong version of the game. As I understand recent Pokemon games do all sorts of weird shit to variables in RAM to make them difficult to hack, so it's likely the code modifies some variables that move around at random, thus appearing to work when it was first discovered.

My question is, why waste time on Diamond/Pearl when Platinum is coming out soon.

But on subject:
Nintendo has recently been doing this. They did it with DKR DS and a few others.
