Have you guys heard of codeblocks the ide. Its open source and support all the compilers i have every heard of. If you download it get the latest nightly build the release version is really old. Its my favorite IDE after going through tons. It can also import other ide's project files. link to latest nightly |

It looks like a fair IDE, even though I never use one. (I use a simple text editor with syntax highlighting: TextPad) |

I'm not the greatest of coders, in fact, I'm not even very good, but I, too, use a simple text editor with syntax highlighting. I usually use vi or gedit. |

Wow, didn't expect most of you to not use a ide. I might try one of the gnu editors. I just don't know how easy it would be to learn the commands. |
