Have you guys heard of codeblocks the ide. Its open source and support all the compilers i have every heard of.
If you download it get the latest nightly build the release version is really old. :roll:
Its my favorite IDE after going through tons. It can also import other ide's project files.

It looks like a fair IDE, even though I never use one. (I use a simple text editor with syntax highlighting: TextPad)

I'm not the greatest of coders, in fact, I'm not even very good, but I, too, use a simple text editor with syntax highlighting. I usually use vi or gedit.

Wow, didn't expect most of you to not use a ide.
I might try one of the gnu editors. I just don't know how easy it would be to learn the commands. :roll:
