A former coworker installed galactic battlegrounds on a computer at work, and he kept playing it without a CD. He wouldn't tell me how he did it, and it didn't matter after a couple of days. He got fired, so that's why I'm asking does anyone else know how to play the game without the CD? |

So he just downloaded a file, there's no special way to do it? I thought he played around with the program files or something. Now are these just patches? Or is this the full version of the game; just edited? |

Not all games require a CD. Most games that are played online don't. But he probably had a cracked version of the game. Do not ask about cracking, for it is forbidden. Google that shit if you must. |

I'm almost sure he didn't have a cracked version. I saw the CD, it looked legit. I know you can play that game on a network. But normally it doesn't work without a CD. I'm just surprised how fast he got it up and running without a CD. It took him about 10 minutes. I know because I saw the CD out while he was playing, and he never brought it to work again. |

It's called a "No CD Crack". I won't go into details because I don't know if it's legal or not. Use Google. |

I have a copy of Warcraft 3 and installed it on my comp and the first few times, it required that I put in a CD, but now I can just open it and play it (Fully) without a cd. I think there are options on some games that let you install everything onto your harddrive. |

I probably should. Seems how my iPod just went through 3 updates since I bought it. Speaking of, is there a forum topic for iPod hacks? I am looking for some (Specifically for iPod Classic 6G) Can anyone redirect me to there? (Or a place where I can make the topic, if need be.) TY |
