Ophcrack is ble to crack passwords for Windows, but Windows Vista disables the LM Hash - which needs to be cracked in order to obtain the NT Hash. I need help cracking the password, but I don't think Ophcrack has the ability to do it~ can anyone suggest something that can do the job? |

I know, but I thought that concerns illegally cracking registration keys to get free stuff~ This isn't necessarily illegal, is it? Its just my sister's laptop... |

Have you tried ntpasswd? |

yea ophcrack isnt compatible with vista at all, so that is why you struggled.and thanks as you just reminded me the name of the app i was just recomending to someone else on here. |
