Ophcrack is ble to crack passwords for Windows, but Windows Vista disables the LM Hash - which needs to be cracked in order to obtain the NT Hash. I need help cracking the password, but I don't think Ophcrack has the ability to do it~ can anyone suggest something that can do the job?

I know, but I thought that concerns illegally cracking registration keys to get free stuff~ This isn't necessarily illegal, is it? Its just my sister's laptop...

yea ophcrack isnt compatible with vista at all, so that is why you struggled.and thanks as you just reminded me the name of the app i was just recomending to someone else on here.
