is it possible for an action replay Ds code for a US version of a game to be changed to an EU code? If so could someone give me some clue on how to accomplish this or better still do it for me ? :?

Find the same code for two different versions. Subtract them from each other. If the game isn't unusual, this difference (in hexidecimal) will be the same for all codes.

Now that you have this offset you can add it to your US codes to get EU codes.
Example:

US
02100000 00000001

EU
021000FF 00000001

0x21000FF minus 0x2100000 = 0xFF

Your other US code:
02200000 00000063
+ 0xFF
--------------
0x22000FF 00000063

So you find the difference of the first half of the code, and then add it to your other codes. Did that make sense?

ok im starting to wish i was better at maths but its worth a try :?

edit: so im trying to do this 021d891c minus 021dc544 i figure that since they both begin with 021d that would all become 0000 since im subtracting it by its self which from what i know usually equals 0. But what about the final bit i dont understand the concept of taking the numbers and letters away from each other????

It would save me a lot of hassle if anyone had an EU version of the animal crossing able sisters pattern code??

ok so i think ive made some progress... since im hopeless at maths and i dont know why im even attempting this ive found something called a hex calculator i put in the sum in trying to do and it gave me this answer FFFFC3D8 is this correct?

EDIT
: its a bit too complicated for me especially since the code im trying to convert is massive , my action replay wont connect to my pc and im not too keen on copying out a half hours worth of code manually. :( thanks for the help anyway at least i understand things better now and if i ever want to attempt this again i know how.

That's a negative number. Try subtracting them the other way around.

This is how I do mine:

First I goto Calculator, and switch to scientific.
Second, I switch it to Hex mode then just subtract the difference between the two versions.
Third, input the offset into Kode Garage and add in the code.
Then, I have the ported code.
