I don't think any proxy servers work on the Mac's at school, but there must be another way. One problem, I don't know any other ways on Mac's. Can anyone round up some resources for bypassing Fortiguard, because many of my class mates are pretty pissed that they even blocked Apples HOME page. Seriously, for "Multimedia Download". Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Have you tried using https:// before the URL, or Google Translator? I also googled it and found this. |

https:// doesnt work, neither does Google Translator. The link you sent me, I don't quite follow. Thats for Fortigate. Im not sure that that is for Fortiguatd/Fortinet. Could be, but Im not sure how to use it. |

The link details how you could inject Javascript code into the admin interface, so the next time someone uses it, their login info gets sent to some script somewhere for you to retrieve. If you don't know Javascript and either something you could write the receiving script in or an existing script you could use, it's of no use to you. Have you tried accessing the sites by IP instead of by name? Some particularly dumb filters allow that. Worst case, set up your own proxy on your PC at home. |
