You can somewhat choose your pokemon's gender with PokeSav. After you make a pokemon, take a look at the colour of its name in the 'Party Pokemon' or 'Storage Pokemon' list: red means its female, blue means its male, and green means its either asexual or a hermaphrodite =P. If you are unhappy with the sex of your pokemon, click on 'edit', then on 'create', and mark the other gender button (the one that is currently unmarked).

Press OK, and your go back and check the colour of your pokemon's name -- its gender should have changed to the other one.

NOTE: Greens will always be green, that cannot be changed/

I've got three important requests that I haven't seen touched up on:

1) What are the dates and secret id's for the event pokémon? I've seen the various statistics (moves, level, ot, location), but without the dates, they can still be detected as hacked quite easily. If somebody could start a list (or redirect me if I missed it : p), that'd be fucking awesome.

2) Explain the "Location" function in pokésav, the part that says "Map", "X", "Y", and "Z". I would experiment myself with it, but I wouldn't even know where to start as i don't know what the "Map" part of the function indicates or where it would throw me in the game (X,Y, and Z are more than likely the coordinates, and Map is the location, but I'm concerned about where I could end up). I realize all I'd have to do to avert destruction is to not save, but I figure somebody else has got to have done this already :p

3) A view all EV's code that functions like the view all IV's code. Invaluable for traded pokémon (no more relentless berry scrubbing) and any other reason.

Thanks a fillion : D

1) The dates have to be after the events themselves are held. That means you'd have to wait to find out when those events will be. The secret ID MUST be yours since you're the one catching them. All event Pokemon are caught (unless it's the special ones like Pikachu with Surf in the past).

That's all I know though.

I never knew there was a green. Wait... if you can change the sex of your Pokémon, I can get myself a male Latias.

I just want to point something out. Serebii talks about getting pokemon from other countries and having new Pokedex entries specifically for that language. Because of the fact that that country selection is on the pokemon window, and not the main window, it'll apply to the nation you got that Pokemon from.

For instance, I bet if you had a Magikarp and set the Country to JPN, it'll be a Magikarp that the game thinks you got from a JPN copy of the game.

It's because you're making a pokemon in a Box. Putting a Pokemon in a box will reset it's stats, so you can't edit them while it's in there.

Hi guys. Well, I posted in a different topic, but my post apparantly got deleted... or something, lol. Anyway, first up, thanks so much for all your help so far. We (well, I do anyway) really appreciate it. :D

Now, I have two questions... firstly. What is the Hidden hex for, and how do we exactly figure it out? Do you think leaving the values at 00 will do? I've tried random hex numbers such as 1F, 3B, and there's no difference for me... oh well.

Finally, what is "Fateful Encounter"? I'm guessing that means if you caught it in a one-time-only battle, such as Diagla. However, I'm not sure, and would like to clarify on this.

Thanks in advance, and thanks for all your work so far. :)

OH! And what is "Class" in attributes? Thanks again.

I work with Pokesav quite a bit, so I know what most of the stuff is. If anyone needs help post here or IM me on AIM.

As for your questions: 1. I think the hidden hex is for Hidden Power but I'm not totally sure. 2. I'm pretty sure the Fateful Encounter button is for event pokes.

Lol I'm new to this forum, but I'm a master with Pokesav. Yes, IT CAN GET SMALLER. To fit nicely. You MUST install JPN Unicode. The Program Will be in English without it and with it. But without the Unicode the program WILL be too big to use.

Could somebody please give me a link so I can install JPN Unicode?
Thanks in advance to whoever can help me! ^_^

I've been reading through this forum and others but I can't find my
answer.
Can anybody please tell me, or direct me to some place with info on this?

Searching around for a needle in a haystack...

Apparently people get codes for Pokemon with 999 stats using this. Could anyone explain to me where to go and what to click to get the 999 stats? Or could anyone just tell me which parts of this code I would have to change to make the stats 999:

Or, is there any other possible way or code to get the stats 999?
Thanks.

HP type is based upon your IV's not the hex values.

Fateful encounter is supposedly when you recieve a event pokemon
it will say
had a fateful encunter @ location

Apparently though some peopl ahve reported getting Dialga or palkia with a fateful encounter.

Ahh, OK. Thanks very much! :D

So, all that's left, is Class, and Hidden Hex...

ALL QUESTIONS ABOUT POKESAV SHOULD GO HERE: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2014 , YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...

http://www.uploading.com/en/files/PRPSX ... n.exe.html

MAKE YOUR OWN POKEMON

*How I did it*
1. Open the application.
2. Go to the lower right area and click on EDIT under the words "Storage."
3. Select any box you want the pokemon to end up in (I use Box 1 slot 1 to avoid confusion and erasing any pokemon)
*Make sure you have no pokemon in the box you've selected!*
4. Click the EDIT box to the right of the box you've selected.
5. From then you select the pokemon you want and abilities. (Far too much detail to go into but all in all it shouldn't be difficult.)
6. When finished press OK to go back to the "Storage" window.
7. Press OK out of that, then select the AR DS OUTPUT button.
8. Select which box you put your pokemon in and select the slot you put the pokemon in when you edited it. (for example: You edited a Box 1 in Slot 1 to create a pokemon. When you go to AR DS OUTPUT select BOX 1 and check off Slot 1.)
9. After your finished go to Save File and it will save it as a XML File which you can drag onto the AR DS application that can with your AR DS.
10. It should appear in your custom codelist as "POKESAV codelist" then tick the little plus next to it to bring down two diffrent games, Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl (use the version you have.)
11. Drag the game either to another custom codelist or leave it, then connect your NDS and drag the new code to the NDS.
12.Wait for the AR DS to write the new codes....wait.....done! Congrats! Now all you have to do is Press L + R to activate the codes and your done!

Doing other things with this program is possible (including making your own codes), but not recommended if you dont have the experience.

Sorry for being stupid but where do I click to actually download PokeSav? All I see is where it says to download, then the two flags. And nothing is clickable. Only where it says Upload. PLZ HELP...

...so? There's no reason to post PokeSav codes since anyone can obviously make their own. :? Plus, you didn't hack or even make it, you just generated it.

It says specifically on the codes topic for Diamond and Pearl not to post Pokesav codes. Like Metal Overlord said, anyone can generate a code. Not everyone can actually hack a game's code.

Any one tried the pokesav generated pokemons with battle revolution yet? Well I have and they are non-usable even if they look okay in D/P. In battle revolution they show up as bad eggs.

Has anyone else had this same problem? Is there a fix for it? Am I doing something wrong (a box I have or have not cliked on in pokesave)?

Thanks,

Birinha

It says specifically on the codes topic for Diamond and Pearl not to post Pokesav codes. Like Metal Overlord said, anyone can generate a code. Not everyone can actually hack a game's code.

Yeah, it meant in that topic :)
And here, i won't say I made it:
I generated a Pikachu Code

Try changing their abilities or their EVs so they are below the 510 range (as that's the limit). I tried Pokesav Pokemon below the EV range (but they don't have "correct" locations caught) and they get pass that first block but the second block (when trying to use them online) occurs. Here's a list for the requirements of Pokemon made from Pokesav for PBR:

1) No hacked abilities. MUST have legitimate ability
2) No hacked movesets. This means, no Blast Burn on a Blastoise. Otherwise, you won't be able to use him online and will be told that one Pokemon doesn't meet the game's requirements.
3) No hacked stats. This means, EVs MUST be below 510 range (though they can be at exactly 510).
4) No wrong locations.
5) No event legends like Darkrai, Arceus, Shaymin, Deoxys, or Mew (Ho-Oh and Lugia work fine though) otherwise they won't work (they will be blocked from online unless caught legitimately which is currently impossible for the first three. The last two can have the Obedient box checked off so they would work not sure if Pokesav has this for these type of legends).

I do believe that's the requirements. Follow them and they SHOULD be fine. If not, it's because PBR can detect Pokesav'd Pokemon (but not Pokemon Maker'd Pokemon. I'd know, because I have 6 made from Pokemon Maker that work fine online and offline).

Trust me these work.

For #1, it doesn't have to be the ability the pkmn has, it can be anything

Also

For #4, As long as it says "Met in a trade" its good, same for the pkmn in #5

:D I hope this helps
