Whenever I try to Net Send to another computer it says there was an error. How do you Net Send because it would be awesome to be able to send messages in the computer lab at my school =P. I think i have to open the program for it to work but where is the program located? |

It is a command line tool. You will need to find some way to open the command prompt or put it in a batch file. Also, net send requires the messenger service to be turned on at the target machine. Windows XP has it disabled by default, but Win 2K does not. |

Yah my school doesnt block command prompt, but how can u enable the messenger service? |

It needs to be enabled at every computer you want to send messages to. It is under services in Computer Management. |

Right Click on My Computer - Go to Manage - Go to Services - Find Messenger - Right Click on it - Tell it to start automatically. Don't be surprised if the school blocks right clicking or getting into computer management. |

Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Services. Messenger will be in there. After setting it to start automatically, you will also have to mannually enable it. |

I found it hilarious, but annoying, that my school actually disabled right click and the File menu. It didn't do shit, it was just a pain in the ass. |

I didn't know you could do that. Btw, I don't need to worry about getting suspended by the Admin at my school, because I know his password. Thus, I have been bad lately =) When the Admin was re-installing our server, I shutdown his computer via the CMD Line. He was like: "Va fan är det här!?" ----------------------- Translation | ----------------------- "What the fuck?!" I lmao'd. |

I got sent to the principles office after accidentally sending messages to the central office computer. I was trying to send messages to the computer next to me but it didnt seem to work. Apparently it did. |
