Please note that the codes that work during fights must be enabled before you select the action of your last character (once the fight "movie" starts, the codes will not have any effect untils the fight "movie" ends).
Also refrain from using the codes "online", as they'll create glitches/freezes (if you fight along with a friend, and reduce the monsters HP to 0 then attack them, your game will think the monsters are dead, but on your friend game the monsters will be alive, and both of you will be stuck).

Usualy, the "normal chest" gives the same item than stealing (but not always true, especially against treasure map's dungeon's bosses).
