I have to determine if all the Bosses health have a central pointer area....maybe with more gameplay and remembering to take ram dumps along the way. Edit: Hmmm...now it seems Konami used the same address twice on different levels for the Boss....if they reused the same two address' than the task is far simplier than I thought...

Edit: From what I observe thus far...these 7 address' seems to cover most of the bosses, sub-bosses and misc. minions with 1 hit kill. I have unlocked the Richiter Belmont and The Twin Sisters Characters after I "beat" the game and more of less did a speed run through the game with Richter killing everything in my path with 1 hit as I go. I do not observe any freezing or other game upset with these codes turned on as constant writes.

Choice of Boss Rush Mode Enabled

021119A8 0X0A1040 where X= 0 Boss Rush 1, X=1 Boss Rush 2, X=2 Boss Rush 3.

Note: This code is useful to have before you beat the game with the good ending and unlock all the Boss Rush modes, i.e, you can play all the Boss Mode anytime you want. All you need do is highlight Boss Rush Mode 1 (that is all you really can select anyway at this point) and with your choice of X above you can play the other two modes as if they were unlocked properly. I am still working on the char. mod code to unlock Richter, Sisters and Old Armor Guy. Hope to be back soon with that code. Hang in there.

Ok. Closer still to unlocking the Char. Mod selection screen.

First the code to control the 1000 Old Axe Armors Killed is 02111E2C 000503E8. You need this in order to unlock the character of the same name after you beat Dracula and get the good ending.

Next while I am finishing up the code...for those that have some capablity of loading or restoring saves to a cart click below And you will be able to start a new game choosing either Jonathan/Charlotte, Richter, Sisters, or Old Axe Armor.

Does the "SKILLS MASTERED" codes from codejunkies not work properly for anyone else? Its been awhile since I played PoR, but the codes only make the skills says "mastered" in the menu, not in effect. ie. the knife skill won't be upgraded, it will only throw 2 still and not 3 (like when it is properly mastered).

Is there like a quick skill mastery code?

Let me check into that...I will post my result here and if need be correct that code.

Edited: ok. well...first I went back and checked my code above for having all skills, relics and sub weapons...and that works. It does not cover "mastered" as I saw that code on CJ. I then went back and tried all skills mastered from CJ...sadly...the code does not work...meaning..it does not get you max skills set in say throwing multiple axes and such. So...now I have to go back and see how to fix that...and then I decided to nest that fix into my own code above....after all...why should one have to check off a lot of sub weapons and stuff when one code could and should do it all? Be back soon.....

OK. I see the problem and I have the answer to fix it....

Most of codes on Code Junkies under the Skill Mastered seems have the wrong value in order to make the sub weapons "Mastered" So in order to fix all of them simply replace the values you have for each of them with this value 0000FFFF and you will have all the subweapons Mastered and up to full power.

BTW...the knife goes from 2 to 3 at a time like you said...but the Axe and Cross get bigger and wider respectively. I have already spoken to FNG at CJ about this issue and I told him I would help him fix it...even though he was not the one who hacked it....and so I have done so.

GREAT SCOTT! I see these codes do not cover Charlotte's magic....gasp...now I have to go find those codes and upgrade them to mastered leve too. AND it also seems that the list of codes of sub-weapons mastered is not complete...this is just such a mess...but I will get it all done by Friday.

thanks, for the quick help! Should I still keep CJ's incomplete SKILLS MASTERED code to still just make it say "mastered" in the menu? Or will the corrected code take care of that

About the mastering skills with Charlotte, I asked this at gamefaqs, and the members said you can't really master her spells. In order to cast bigger/more powerful spells you have to switch to her and charge the spell. So I wouldn't bother trying to hack it.

Change the values of all the codes listed as per the example you cite above for the knife...since this change really allows the sub-weapons to have a master level rating. Please note again that not all the sub-weapons have yet shown the master level rating...and I will be looking into that today to see if they can. Ok....since Charlotte's spells don't get to have Master rating...we will drop that issue. Finally, I don't work for Datel or Code Junkies. I never met any of the Interact and now Code Junkies hackers in person. I did and still do have a good repoire with their hackers. FNG and I see eye to eye on the importance of making sure codes do what they are suppose to do. Testing codes is an ongoing business...sometimes you observe things you did not during the hack. You are most welcome for the codes. I will continue to hack my own codes and help where I can in reviewing any issues with codes already published. Ciao.

Ok. So this is clear I will add another post. To make this simple:

ALL Sub-Weapon Skills Mastered

I tested this code 10 times with loading saves that have no mastered skills. I went to the sub-screen, saw the sub-weapons and saw they were there but not mastered. I then added the code and VOILA....going back to the sub-screen saw the sub-weapons mastered. I then actually picked them one by one and tested them all...and VOILA...they working yes? YES! And of course once you save the game you have it forever so you dont need this code but once.

Note: Obviously you must have the sub-weapons in order to master them...and that is already covered in my other code

thanks macrox for your dedication, I'll test these codes once my brother gives me a chance with the dslite...he's hooked on pokemon atm. I hope the codes get changed at cj soon as well, so everyone can have it fixed.

To use the codejunkies code, kill sonething with the sub-wepon wanted to master. It will master after one kill. This worked for me.

Thanks, but this was not about a work around...this was and still is about codes not being what the claim they are and codes not being tested thoroughly enough to insure that they are sufficient and complete. This problem seems to be showing a systemic nature...of which I could comment more...but will not. Instead, I will simply say I told FNG (who btw, did not hack these codes) that I would help out where I could when issues like this arise...and also to make new codes that are wanted or needed by some gamers. ciao

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, I'm new, have read the rules, and this is the only place I've found that seems like I could find to ask about my problem.

Anyways, I've been using the ARDS codes, and I've had a problem with the map percentage going up higher than normal, so that by the time I'm later in the game, the map percentage on the main pause menu is showing a higher than possible completion percentage (E.G. 120.20% etc) and some story events are obviously skipped, like finding out Wind's real name (For example, they call him his real name even though the event with his real name being exposed hasn't happened). I've only been using the...

Infinite/Max HP/MP
Max/Infinite Gold
and some items codes for main weapons, armor, accessories, leg gear, and sub weapons.
I had also used the Have all Sub Weapons code, and it gave all spells as well, but it recognized that Charlotte had a story acquired spell and Wind stated so. I'd just like to know if there is a work around or fix for these problems so I can play it to completion without those nasty bugs.
