So, the x128 xp code works for me. Thing is, I have my Laharl at 2363, and several other characters 2000-ish right now, but they won't go beyond that. Any ideas, anyone?

I have that same issue. There is basically a point where the characters will not level-up fast. You pretty much have to disable the code and level-up naturally.

Just use the code that allows your characters to level-up to max level instantly.

You could try maxing emeny levels and then use the code hold select while attack to kill an enemy and hold start to recive no damage.when my etna character also had this problem it went awya after awhile.

Just use the max level code. It should be on one of the pages of this topic.

So basically, the Baal tier(s?) is/are between the Nether Noble class and the Beast class. The reason we were thrown off is because, whereas there are six Baal portraits/in-battle sprites in the game's code, there is only ONE Tyrant class. I suppose in beta-testing, there originally six Tyrant classes planned (and possibly playable), but they decided against it at a late stage in development, and they were forced to keep the extra portraits/sprites in order to keep the game code stable, or something.

So now you can make your very own Tyrant, with six colors to choose from:
Blue, Gold, Green, Metal, Red, Black.

There was a code for the PS2 version of this game that let you change any item into any other item by hitting L, R, etc to cycle through them. Was pretty damned handy...has anyone come up with a way of doing this for the DS version?

Secondly, and I post this question only because I couldn't find it in this thread (maybe I'm blind?) but is there a way to change the rarity of an item in Bag slot 1? I've found the ones for changing it while it's equipped on characters and such, but it'd be so much easier just to change it in the bag.

If you equip a character with a weapon their sprite cannot carry (for example changing Laharl into any monster class or NPC sprite while equipped with any non-monster weapon), the sprite will be stuck in an attack pose when standing still, and will glitch when fighting.

Some sprites (such as human Kurtis) may cause crashes if not properly equiped. There is no fix other than making their equiped weapon match what they would carry on their stage.

Sprite also affects voice.

Quick question. I am wondering how do you use the class code? Who does it effect? Characters you create? Also, is there a way to create a code to go directly to lvl 100 of item world and fight item god 1, exit out and re-enter to fight item god 2? Sorry, but for some reason it all confuses me.:?:

A few are missing though: Beauty Queen, Tyrant, and Jobless are found in the title modifier code at random values, but they aren't classes. Someone mentioned Baal having 6 classes and there's an item God 2. I have no idea where these classes are.



can you explain what to put in the extra x`s in this code 121D109C 0000xxxx - Class i put it in to the action relpay but i was missing a numd=ber or letter so it did not work can you explain how the code work.

add an extra 0 that way it works just fine

The Tyrant, Overlord, Jobless and Beauty Tyrant 'classes' are simply modifications to Laharl's and Etna's titles depending on whether or not you've beaten baal in normal and Etna modes.

Also the code that allows capturing of anything and anyone might be useful towards finding a code that unlocks classes for creation since capturing should enable you to create that class in future.
Perhaps we just need to compare the starting classes with the later ones, since they are always available there might be a 'can always be used flag'.

Hey, if anyone is still looking at this board besides me, I was just wondering if anyone could help me. I had to max money code turned on and was trying to level up items in the item world when I noticed I had apparently gotten so much money it went into negative numbers. Now I can't buy anything or heal anyone.. I have tried several different codes to try to fix this, but I can't seem to get anything to work. Does anyone have a code to set money back to zero? I would really appreciate any response to this. Thanks.

AArgh!, Prism Red refuses to be captured, his health simply will not go down when I chuck him in normally, and the capture code just keeps freezing the game.

I have human Kurtis, I have Vulcanus, I have Lamington, I even caught Final Mid-boss (Though I REALLY want to know where all his specials went, he only has the moon drop one, the Kage Bunshin and energy blast ones are gone.) The code worked for all of them, but I couldn't catch Sardia, it froze, just like now, I couldn't catch Joa Quin, it froze, in Joa's case it's really ridiculous because I couldn't catch him even when he only had 1 HP.

Is the game programmed to make these characters uncatchable or something?

And before you ask, I hit the button after throwing them into the base panel and after they started fighting.

Just doesn't work.

EDIT: Also, you can get Laharl's Mom?

EDIT2: Hmm... Mid-Boss can't reincarnate into Mid-Boss? And why do Prinnies in his reincarnation screen have Fae sprites instead of prinny sprites?

Title: Ultimate Badass(ish) Overlord
Bump for Aarik's post. The capture code is an awesome idea (jussayin' <3), but the fact that I can't catch Sardia really makes me sad. I also tried to capture an Alt. Overlord, but the damn thing froze again. I know the code works, because I've tried it on generic human characters before (haven't had a chance to try Mid-Boss yet -_-;). Hopefully, the brilliant faeries here at Kodewerx will see me through this difficult time! (Btw, I didn't really want an Alt. Overlord, I was just tryin' the code to try it.)

Edit: Maybe I'm just not doing something right, because when I tried to capture the 3rd Mid-Boss it froze again. :(I'm using the updated code from the original post, but now it always freezes. Hmm...
