edit: sorry I didn't see you saying the original codes won't work for you...

i think that's it. you have to wait (leave your ds open in duel world) and look at your stats, and you will see your time raising rapidly.

Even if you did edit the text, I'm pretty sure only you'd be able to see it and it'd only be temp. until you turn the code off. Though it'd be pretty easy to find where the text was stored.

Edit: On the note of text editing, though, here's one I decided to make just because;

Code:
"Free Duel" popup Modifier:
022FFD4C ddccbbaa
022FFD50 hhggffee
022FFD54 00kkjjii
Replace aa with character 1 (aka, originally "F")
Replace bb with character 2 (aka, originally "r"), and etc
Replace all unused ones with 00.
Note: Same as all other character modifiers.

i don't really understand what the popup mod does...it just makes free duels popup out of nowhere???

and this topic is growing nicely =]

i want to make a name and look mod, but that would mean i would have to erase my save game data to start at the beginning.

For that might have trouble with edit tag partner. You have to set it to duelist not ghost.

It modifies the text "Free Duel" that pops up on the one menu screen with "Free Duel", "Options", etc when you select it.

BenDstraw1441 wrote:

Isn't there a look mod. code on page three near the bottom?

Edit: Name Mod hot off the oven.
Code:
Name Mod. (Press Select)
94000130 FFFB0000
02111848 ccbbaa00
0211184C ggffeedd
02111850 kkjjiihh
02111854 oonnmmll
02111858 ssrrqqpp
2211185C 00vvuutt
D2000000 00000000
Replace aa with the first letter's hex, bb with the second, etc.
Just press select and do something to make the game save. (or to see the name changed go to "Options -> Change Image")

Edit2: Here's two neat ones a little cooler (I finished them last night just forgot about them until now)
Code:
CPU Controls You (Press Select when on Rock Paper Scizors screen):
94000130 FFFB0000
22111314 00000001
D2000000 00000000

Control CPU (Hold Start on RPS screen) (or view cards while CPU plays as you, press anytime in the duel)
94000130 FFF70000
22111314 00000000
D2000000 00000000

Edit: Just to be clear on what I mean for the CPU codes, I mean a 'second' CPU controls you, while you only control no one or yourself (Flips View Duel and CPU Duel options pretty much, except you get to use their deck/vice-versa)

Edit: CPU editing apparently doesn't work on Tournament modes. Also, not advised to use it on WiFi.

I'm not doing that much, really; Just making random things that no one else will, like these two;

Code:
Flip View & Play as Opponent(Select):
94000130 FFFB0000
222C8F30 00000001
222C8F3B 00000001
D2000000 00000000

Flip View Back & Play as Self(Start):
94000130 FFF70000
222C8F30 00000000
222C8F3B 00000000
D2000000 00000000

Though, I suppose it's good to use if you want to just flip-turn through Ghosts/Duelists decks to steal them.

Edit:
Code:
Note: These only work AFTER rock/paper/scissors, but they work indefinitely. (Yes, I realize the self-related codes are the same as "I Hate Snatch Steal"'s control Tag Partner code, but in one-on-one it works like this. So, semi-credit to "I Hate Snatch Steal"). The last two also work better then my other "Play as CPU" code.

NOTE: If you change from CPU and vice-versa, do it any time EXCEPT on the draw phase.
Opponent is not a CPU (Select)
94000130 FFFB0000
222C8F38 00000000
D2000000 00000000

Opponent is a CPU again (Start)
94000130 FFF70000
222C8F38 00000001
D2000000 00000000

You are not a CPU (Start)
94000130 FFF70000
22111314 00000000
222C8F34 00000000
D2000000 00000000

You are a CPU (Select)
94000130 FFFB0000
222C8F34 00000001
D2000000 00000000

Edit2:
Code:
Go to Side-deck Edit Menu (Select + Start)
94000130 FFF30000
022C8F34 00000003
D2000000 00000000

^Good quicker way to steal decks.

Edit3: Latter version of CPU-to-Human and vice-versa works fine on WiFi AS LONG AS you don't try and use it in an online Tag Duel.

Flipping views won't work, for now you have to go to "View Mode" and select the Ghost/etc as you, select the opponent as whoever, start the duel, then just use the code. (Though, I'll work on a code to make the side-deck edit load the opponents deck instead)

Edit: For those curious, here's what the "Worldwide 08 best" Deck that -looks- legit for the Japanese blue kimono girl on the Leader board (Just an example that it works);
Deck (44):
1x Breaker the Magical Warrior
2x Double Coston
3x Gellenduo
1x Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
3x Pyramid Turtle
1x Sangan
1x Spirit Reaper
3x Wicked Eraser
1x Treeborn Frog
3x Book of Life
1x Brain Control
3x Cold Wave
2x Enemy Controller
1x Gold Sarcophagus
1x Messenger of Peace
1x Mystical Space Typhoon
2x Pot of Avarice
1x Premature Burial
1x Swords of Revealing Light
2x Bottomless Trap Hole
1x Call of the Haunted
1x Crush Card Virus
3x Ojama Trio
3x Solemn Judgment
1x Torrential Tribute
1x Wall of Revealing Light

Side-Deck (13):
1x Beast King Barbaros
2x II Bud
1x Snipe Hunter
1x Enemy Controller
3x Magical Mallet
2x Dark Bribe
1x Dimensional Prison
2x Just Desserts

Fusion Deck
1x Meteor B. Dragon
2x The Last Warrior from Another Planet
2x Dark Balter the Terrible
2x Ryu Senshi
2x Fiend Skull Dragon
2x Reaper on the Nightmare
2x Ojama King
2x Dark Blade the Dragon Knight
2x Gatling Dragon
2x King Dragun
2x Cyber Twin Dragon
2x Cyber End Dragon
2x Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill
2x Cyber Ogre 2
2x Gladiator Beast Heraklinos
1x Chimeratech Fortress Dragon

(I yoinked the fusion deck with "CPU to human", don't ask why she has them, since I dunno.)

I actually didn't change it on purpose, I was just kinda...tinkering and accidentally changed it. I'll make the code as soon as I'm sure what I actually changed the first time around.

Edit: For those looking for a value to use for checking if it's "Player 1" or "Player 2" use the view location, or "522C8F30", it'll be 0 if Player 1, 1 if Player 2.

Have a problem associated with the "Press Select to go to Draw Phase" code; this code will makes some cards that carry out their effects couple of turns later useless. For example, future fusion and sealed gold coffer will only count the draw phase being passed, but won't bring me the card I needed...

Anyone can fix that?

8.Start climbing the tower and dueling each monster with a different requirement:
-Stage one: Activate 10 Spells
-Stage two: Activate 10 Traps
-Stage three: Make him discard 10 cards
-Stage four: Win the duel with 5 or less cards in your deck
-Stage five: Make 5 chains that at least go up to chain link 5.

Could some one make codes to make the above part of Duel World easier? In other words, codes to automatically fulfill the requirements for each duel?

Code:
Dice Roll is always...: (Hold Select while rolling)
94000130 FFFB0000
222ce512 000000xx
D2000000 00000000
Replace xx with any value between 00 and FF.

Note: This only affects the actual outcome, the visual of the dice will still be what it originally would of been.

Note 2: Hasn't been tested on Wifi.

More to come when I feel like working on more complicated things.

could that be pressing X or L or R or other unused button? Apparently there are too many codes require to press Select and I can't use them together....

Thanks for your code anyway

Just change the "FFFB" of the first line to "FDFF" (L), "FEFF" (R), or change the whole first line to "927FFFA8 FBFF0000" (X).
