I'd suggest only turning this code on after you've gone to Red Alert and turning it off when warping, before finishing a level, and when lowering your alert level. I know it freezes if you leave it on when finishing a level, and I've had some weapons that don't work correctly if I leave it on when warping. You still may only get 2 or 3 levels use out of the code before it starts messing up and you need to start up the game afresh. The code does what it says, though, and I haven't had any problem with it corrupting a save, since saving only occurs after completing a level. This also works in Skirmish mode.
I have tried without success to get a Klingon code (pointers/weapon separation don't seem to behave like the Federation side). Sorry.
