This is a 'test code', because I've no real clue what the money is (there are at least two things, 'GG' and 'Genkai GG'. Also I'm not sure what the 'Pearl Suu' (sp?) is), and I'm not going to play that game to find it out... So this code is for the 'GG' and the 'Genkai GG'. It was just made to fill lee3's request, so I'll let him (or anyone actually playing that game) test the code, and report if it works correctly. The code might also work on the 'deep purple' version of the game.

hey thanks a lot, i think the GG is gold, and the Genkai GG is the level where you can catch monsters. the Pearl Suu is little pearls with which you can trade in for rare stuff. I'll go test the codes later since I beat the game without the codes.

i dont think the ID is right because the codes wont show up

Strange. Maybe I made a typo when copying it. I can't test it right now, but then disregard the ID I gave and use the one displayed by the AR (when you launch the AR then insert the game, the top screen will display the game code/id).

R4 doesn't do that...i mean i...don't use roms?

The Game Code/ID is fine, just tested it.

Nope, the code works fine too (I tested them on a new game, and the 999999 gils showed up on the player information card).

Are you sure you are using the good game ? (Gaust Red)
Or maybe you're not using the M4 the right way to get the codes working (did you use codes for other games already) ?

i deleted the old cheat file and made a new one and it works now. Odd.
