Kodewerx :: View topic - [NDS] Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix[U] AR

Until further notice I am halting hacking of this game. I would strongly advise all against picking up this game to hack at this time. The above mentioned glitch is in the game and not being caused by any codes. After spending countless hours checking over and over with new games it appears that the glitch occurs should Harry fall off a beam he is crossing in the tower when he is trying to recover a camera. This glitch happens, for those familiar with the game, after Harry rescues Angelina from the Trophy room.

I stand by the codes I hacked thus far but I refuse to release any more at this time until this matter has been resolved with Electronic Arts. I have registered a complaint with the customer service/technical support group and I am awaiting a reply. I most likely will not get a reply until later this week.

You are both entitled to your opinions. I like the game. I have seen better but I have also seen worse...much worse in all my years in the hacking biz. This thread was started for the purpose of posting game codes or in game cheats...if you are not posting codes and want to rant then send me a PM or AIM. ciao

Got a new relacement cart...now to test if the glitch was isolated to the last cart or in this cart as well. If ok, I will proceed again by first re-testing the codes above. Should that be ok I will release the new codes after I re-test those one more time. Keep the faith... mac UPDATE - Second cart has exactly the same glitch!!! No codes used. Just played the game to the same point where Harry tries to cross the beam in the tower...no control, he falls, no further control or retry is possible, only the choice of continue (how?), pause, and quit. Choice of quit puts you back to a point in dorm room....this cannot be correctly programmed. I cannot believe EA would have this...and if so...shame on them. 6-3-2007 Saw a post on Game Spot of another freeze issue with this game.

UPDATE 6-4-2007 Got the game to work!!! It seems the slider bar on the lower screen controls Harry's position. If Harry fall off the beam, say to the right, you touch the slider bar on the left and Harry will pull himself up. I have made it across the beam!!! So there is NO glitch! My apologies to EA. That also means that the codes above work 100%. I can now test the other codes and hack more. HAPPY 4th!!!!
